Amadeus All Fares Takes Low Air Fare Search To A New Level For Travel Agencies
New desktop offering featuring Amadeus Master Pricer will save North American agents valuable time in finding ideal flight and fare options
MIAMI, February 26, 2008 – Amadeus North America today announced the arrival of Amadeus All Fares, a new addition to the Amadeus Selling Platform for travel agencies combining GDS and non-GDS fare content along with powerful low fare search capabilities, all in one comprehensive graphical display.
Amadeus All Fares uniquely leverages the powerful low-fare search engine technology of Amadeus Master Pricer. Using Amadeus Master Pricer, for the first time travel agents will have the ability to search and evaluate up to 200 fares instantaneously on one screen in order to determine the best flight schedule and price options for their clients – all seamlessly integrated into the Amadeus passenger name record (PNR).
“To stay competitive and deliver on their customers’ needs quickly, travel agents need to be able to evaluate a wide variety of air fare schedules and prices without having to spend valuable time scouring the Internet,” said Owen Wild, Director of Marketing, Amadeus North America. "Amadeus has solved this age old problem for agents by delivering a truly seamless desktop experience and essentially eliminating the laborious task of finding the ‘perfect fare’.”
Wild added that Amadeus is the first distribution provider to bring this level of integrated search and display functionality right to the agent’s desktop to help them increase productivity and grow their businesses.
Accessible via a "Smart Tab" on the Amadeus Selling Platform, Amadeus All Fares using Amadeus Master Pricer pulls flights and fares from GDS fare content, non-GDS content from select airline Web sites and consolidator fares from Amadeus' Consolidator Shopper product, all into a single graphical display. Additionally, the product includes a calendar view for agents to evaluate various travel dates for customers who have flexible travel schedules. Other search-by options include GDS published fares; agency contract fares; select non-GDS airline web fares; consolidator fares; and alternate airports and cabin type.
"We are pleased to rollout Amadeus All Fares featuring Amadeus Master Pricer because we have a long-term commitment to making sure travel agencies have the right and most relevant content at their fingertips," said Wild.
Amadeus Selling Platform subscribers in the U.S. and Canada will be eligible to try out Amadeus All Fares during a free three-month trial period March 1st through May 30th, For more information on Amadeus All Fares or how to become an Amadeus subscriber, contact 1-888-AMADEUS or www.us.amadeus.com.
