Amadeus strengthens hotel distribution business with appointment of Jean de Durfort
Appointment is part of Amadeus global expansion of its hotel technology business
In his new role, de Durfort is responsible for promoting and delivering Amadeus distribution products and services to hotels around the world, and working with travel agencies to boost Amadeus hotel bookings. He will continue to drive Amadeus' increase in hotel content – travel agents can now book over 75,000 hotels in Amadeus.
de Durfort previously managed Amadeus' relationships with third party technology providers and with major travel management companies selling Amadeus e-Travel Management, Amadeus' advanced online self-booking tool for corporations. Prior to this, de Durfort held a variety of sales and marketing positions at American Express, lastly Director of Multinational Sales. He has worked in

de Durfort is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
