ROAD SHOW with Amadeus – the company presents its new solutions in Rzeszow

Warsaw, May 31st, 2007 – Amadeus, global leader in IT solutions for travel and and tourism industry, organizes yet another meeting from the “ROAD SHOW with Amadeus” series. During the seminar in Rzeszow. Amadeus will present its modern and functional solutions: Amadeus Agency Internet Engine (Sirius) v.3, Amadeus Service Fee Manager, Amadeus Quality Control, Amadeus Tours Suite and hotels in the Amadeus system.

The meeting in Rzeszów is the third from the series of seminars organized by Amadeus in seven Polish cities. The participants will be able to learn about new solutions offered by the company in Poland and take part in systems consultations given by experts. Seminary will take place at Hubertus Hotel in Rzeszow.

During the “ROAD SHOW with Amadeus” in Rzeszow a few products from among a wide broad offer of solutions available on the Polish market were presented. Additionaly partner companies auch as TUI, Neckermann, Traveltainment, Norwegian Air Shuttle and Aviareps which represents Wyndham hotel network will present their offer.

 

Amadeus Agency Internet Engine (Sirius) v.3 is dedicated to travel agencies and online travel portals that intend to introduce online sale of their services and to make it possible for their customers to make bookings of flights, hotel rooms or cars on their own. The offered solution is characterised by its large flexibility and possibility of customising it to the needs of travel agencies. Amadeus Agency Internet Engine (Sirius) v.3 is equipped with Amadeus Master Pricer tool, designed to allow the end-user to seek the cheapest and most advantageous prices and flight connections in the online booking system.

 

Another product the participants of the meeting in Rzeszow could learn about was Amadeus Service Fee Manager – a solution created in response to changing trends on the travel services market. It is aimed at both airlines and travel agencies. Its use allows travel agencies to automatically calculate service fees.

 

Amadeus Quality Control is an Amadeus product aimed at quality control of bookings. With the help of rules defined by the user, it verifies the quantity and correctness of elements in the booking and its accordance with the needs of the agency and its customers. The solution, integrated with Amadeus Selling Platform, is composed of two elements: Quality Control Manager and Quality Control Rule Checker. The first one is used by the system administrator in the travel agency, and the second one by airline ticket clerks. The product speeds up the booking process and controls its quality. The use of the solution allows to shorten the service time to minimum.

 

Amadeus Tours Suite is a product based on a Web browser, dedicated to travel agencies that sell tourist packages. The solution allows, among others, access to a broad offering of ca. 180 tour operators, ferry and hotel bookings with an option of voucher printing, booking of TUI and Scan Holiday offerings (with the printout of confirmation in Polish) as well as access to train schedules on European connections served by Deutsche Bahn and PKP (Polish Railways).

 

Hotels in Amadeus system – a recollection of interesting functions in Amadeus Selling Platform, that might be used to enrich the offering of travel agencies with hotel bookings. The application, thanks to its graphic version, allows in a more rapid and interesting way to present the customer with various hotel offerings and meet more of his expectations as regards planned journeys. Since  May, 22nd every travel agency employee, making hotel reservation via Amadeus system, has the opportunity a chance to participate in the Amadeus Privilege loyalty programme. For each booked hotel segment the participant receives points credited to his personal account.
