We would like to notify you of fresh changes to the Amadeus Cars Online Toolbox, the single entry point to simplify content management.

The first improvements you will find are a re-design of the login page when updating rates, rental locations and policies. The login process has been simplified and will be identical with Amadeus Multimedia Server:

In the company ID field, it will no longer be necessary to have to add 'CAR-' in front of Company Code, thus CAR-XX becomes simply XX
The duty code field has been removed as it was always "SU"
By clicking on the check box "Keep as default sing in parameter"; all the information (except the login) are saved.

After logging in, there will a new link to the website of our partner, ACRISS, with whom we co-operate to set global car rental standards. Our work with ACRISS represents a common initiative to support the industry through a standardised approach. This link will direct you to www.acriss.org, where you can gather a more comprehensive idea of the work of ACRISS. Similarly you will find the Amadeus Cars Quick Reference Guide, a list of commands used by the Travel Agents to book cars through our system.

Our final enhancement will ease the task of adding Car Fleet to your car locations. Currently, the only manual update to car fleet can be done through individual car locations. To improve this, it will be possible to replicate a car fleet over any number of provider stations, Please find attached a 'walkthrough' of how the enhancement will look and work.
