Petra Euler

Acting VP, Human Resources (Amadeus Group) and Managing Director, Amadeus Germany

Petra was appointed Acting VP, Human Resources of the Amadeus Group, in June 2009 and maintains her current role within Amadeus Germany.  She was appointed Managing Director of Amadeus Germany in December 2005.  In this role Petra leads the Finance Department, Human Resources, Purchasing & Facility Management, the Legal Department, and Customer Training and Business Development.

Petra joined Amadeus Germany in February 2001 as head of Human Resources.

Prior to joining Amadeus, Petra worked for Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt, Germany. She joined the airline in 1983 and held various positions there, rising to head the Personnel Development Department where she was responsible for approximately 300 directors and high potentials worldwide.

Petra holds a Diploma with distinction in Social Sciences (Sociology and Social Psychology) from the Universities of Saarbrücken and Mannheim in Germany. A German national, she speaks German, English, Greek and French, as well as basic Spanish and Italian.
