Anti-fraud programmes are becoming key for airlines in order to track fraud, perform risk assessment, and one of the fastest and most efficient way to minimise fraud is to increase IT security, to set up checks and to monitor all sales.

With Electronic documents being the major type of documents issued worldwide, managing risks and fraud related to agencies, passengers is becoming key because the bypass of rules is facilitated.

Amadeus Sales Watcher provides airlines with an automated solution to perform several checks prior to electronic sales transactions done across all channels on behalf of the validating airline. In other words, Amadeus Sales Watcher can be used on all electronic tickets or electronic miscellaneous documents sales done by airline agents or travel agents independently on the Global Distribution System used.

Amadeus Sales Watcher is comprised of the following 3 independent modules:

• Agency Risk Manager closely tracks daily sales and notifies the airline or blocks electronic issuances coming from any channel as a result of abuse ticket issuance, fraudulent agencies or risky markets.
• Data Integrity Auditor ensures that IATA/ATA standards and airlines' ticketing, fares and payment rules are observed.
• Passenger Risk Manager ensures that the passenger is eligible for travel.
