SAS renews multi-year technology agreement with Amadeus
Distribution agreement continues to guarantee travelers a consistent shopping experience across all channels
SAS supports its operational efficiency drive by renewing its contract for a range of Amadeus IT solutions including the Altéa Suite, payments solutions and Revenue Management systems
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is one of Amadeus’ first airline customers, and 2017 marked 30 years of partnership between the two companies. Today, Amadeus and the airline announce a renewal of their multi-year partnership, including a distribution agreement that guarantees SAS’ travel agency partners continued access to the airline’s full range of fares and prices through Amadeus.

Along with this commitment to the travel agency sector, the partnership will also see the airline renewing the full Altéa suite of solutions, including inventory, reservation, ticketing and departure control systems. Amadeus technology supports SAS strategic business priorities, allowing it to optimize several areas of the business including Passenger services, Revenue management and Payment.
