Contributions to the Open Source Community

Amadeus has a long-standing association with open source software, whether it is having Linux as part of our infrastructure, or using open source in developer tools or as part of Amadeus products.

The defining moment came in 2011 with the Amadeus Open Source Initiative, a project that delivers a more structured approach, including the creation of guidelines, processes and a dedicated infrastructure to support open source development and build relationships with open source communities.

In 2012, Amadeus released ARIA™ Templates, one of our core application frameworks to the open source community.  We have since, contributed to other communities - Flow, MakePP and Waitress to name a few. More recently, a plug-in for Stash allowing a better integration with SonarQube, was made publicly available through our GitHub repository.

Today, Amadeus is an active participant in the open source community. Our recent collaboration with Red Hat on OpenShift is proof of this.
