The festival will take place over three days and will feature 150 presentations, 22 roundtable debates and several hours of networking.
The exhibition will feature two full days of content as part of the Innovation Theatre where exhibition visitors will be able to hear about some of the latest innovations from specialist suppliers and airline innovation hubs. Exhibitors will also be showcasing demonstrations at their stands.
The World Low Cost Airlines Congress is still a large part of the festival, drawing in low cost carriers from around the world. This year, there are four more events and dedicated pre-day summits that cater to all global airlines such as the AirXperience, Aviation IT Show, Air Retail Show, Aviation Marketing Social and Aviation Marketing Loyalty.
Amadeus is sponsoring the festival and will have presence on the main stage with David Doctor, Vice President, Provider Offer Management, Amadeus IT Group, participating in the panel ‘How will digital innovations and artificial intelligence influence the aviation industry in the next 2-3 years?’
Fredrik Odeen, Senior Manager of New Carrier Strategy, Travel Channels, Amadeus IT Group will give a presentation at the exhibition area titled ‘Making the most of a multi-channel distribution strategy – key learnings & findings for LCCs’.
Justin Wilde, UX Architect – New Technologies, Navitaire (an Amadeus company) will present ‘Platform for Change: Using Virtual Reality (VR) to Reinvent How Customers Shop for and Buy Travel’ and Jason Coverston, Director, Optimization Products, Navitaire will participate in the panel ‘How will increased competition, personalisation, AI and customer behaviours change the way that RM teams differentiate their product and offering?’.
