Madrid, 18 September 2006: Amadeus, global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has signed up Alitalia to its Full Content Option, which secures the airline’s complete public inventory of flights and fares. Travel agents can now access these fares using Amadeus, with no GDS surcharge on these bookings.
With this agreement, Alitalia assures that its schedules, fares, last seat availability and associated inventory, available to travel agents through Amadeus, will be the same as content offered in:
- any internet website, including Alitalia’s own website
- the airline’s own reservation system
- any other GDS

Over fifty leading European airlines have already signed the Full Content Option. Amadeus Full Content Option is available to all airlines in the European market.
