Rudy was appointed head of Distribution Product Management (DPM) in June 2009.
He is responsible for the end-to-end distribution product cycle. Collaborating with key Amadeus product stakeholders (regions, R&D, Marketing, Implementation and Services) and based on deep understanding of customers’ needs, his mission is to deliver innovative products in a timely fashion and with respect to costs which support both Amadeus global/regional strategies and business models.
In his previous role as Director Fare Quote Development, Rudy was responsible for defining the global architectural and technical evolution of the Pricing and Shopping platform. As such, he directed the major architectural changes that allowed the migration of the Fare Quote system to open systems.
Previously he coordinated the creation of the open system platform used as the technical basis for all Amadeus low-fare search products and managed the New Fare Search project, which led to the implementation of Flex Pricer in 2004.
Rudy has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Nice-Sophia Antipolis, France. In 1986-87, he lived in Edinburgh, Scotland where he studied computer science at Herriot Watt University and taught French at Napier University.
