Amadeus Availability Management Advanced

Amadeus Availability Management is a revenue maximisation tool which helps airlines differentiate their offer in Amadeus displays, using customer and market segmentation. It applies revenue management controls directly at channel level thus tailoring availability information to individual points-of-sale.
Key benefits
  • Real-time application of flight/class distribution policy.
  • Full control over the quality offered to airline distribution channels.
  • Yield maximisation through special arrangements with an airline’s most profitable agents, channels and markets.
  • Offer customisation offer based on the point of sale value.
  • Increased visibility and control over sales channels compliance with airline rules and policies.
  • Creates and manages rules for selective polling when used together with dynamic availability.
Main features
Amadeus Availability Management’s business rules engine allows airlines to manage their distribution across the following areas:
  • Revenue integrity: limits availability to travel agencies that are considered high-risk.
  • Class/Flight distribution network management: suppresses cabin classes and/or entire flights by point of sale and flight networks.
  • Polling management: controls polling by point-of-sale and flight network.
The business-rules engine is based on two powerful reference-data modules that allow airlines to manage even the most complex needs:
  • A point of sale business-rule module: type of agent (IATA, non IATA), geographical location or IATA number.
  • A Flight Group module: market origin, destination market, type of traffic (domestic or international) or type of connection.
