Amadeus Payment Capture uses delayed capture, facilitating a window of time between the transaction being authorised and the funds being settled in the airline's account, during which airlines can cancel tickets without having to process unnecessary payment refunds.
Amadeus Payment Refund automates refunds, saving time and avoiding the risk of errors due to manual entries. Furthermore, the tool applies the necessary controls to ensure the money reaches its correct destination, providing travellers with a faster and more efficient service.
- Reduce costs and avoid unnecessary transactions: thanks to a controlled time delay between payment authorisation and payment capture. This enables airlines to cancel tickets before sales closure, without having to process unnecessary payment refunds.
