From October, 22nd 2007, Amadeus S.A starts its global activities to celebrate 20th Aniversary. Through 20 years of operation, Amadeus S.A positions itself as a global leader in ditribution of travel products as well as IT services. Amadeus’s customers are ranged in all segments of travel industry, from small low cost carriers to Global Allience with mega carriers, from traditional travel agents to multi-national on-line travel agents. “Your technonoly partner”, a message from Amadeus to its customers, partners and travel community, is the strategic direction for Amadeus in the future.

 

In line with worldwide activities, from from October, 22nd 2007 to  December, 31st 2007, Amadeus Vietnam runs a promotion campaign “COMBO 2020” for travel agent staff, who are vital contributors for Amadeus successes in the past and the future.  Each booking created in Amadeus system with record locator containing number “2” and “0” qualifies its creator a chance to win high-value lucky-draw prizes. Booker with booking containing “2020” may win a prize of a high-end PC with a couple of tickets on one of the participating carriers, namely United Airlines, Thai Airways International, Air France, Lufthansa etc. The prize winners will be published by Amadeus Vietnam on the 2007 year-end party for travel agents.

 

The number of  weekly statistics on the qualified bookings shows a  keen interests from bookers to participate in this promotion. Staff of a big travel agent in Ho Chi Minh City, who is asked for comment about this promtion, says that they are serious in generating booking in Amadeus to win these prizes.
