Scott Gutz
President and Chief Executive Officer, Amadeus North America

Scott Gutz serves as president and chief executive officer for Amadeus North America.

In this role, he is a key leader for the Americas region of Amadeus. Gutz directs Amadeus’ distribution initiatives, including sales, marketing, strategic planning, business development, product management and customer support for Amadeus' travel agency, travel supplier and specialty customers in the United States and Canada.

Prior to his current role, Gutz served as chief operating officer for the Americas, overseeing finance, information systems, customer training, customer support, product development and delivery services.  Formerly, Gutz served as senior vice president of e-Commerce for Amadeus North America and chief executive officer of e-Travel Inc. In this role, he led the commercial, product and support activities for Amadeus’ large North American corporate, airline and leisure e-commerce customers.  As chief executive officer of e-Travel Inc., Gutz successfully facilitated and implemented the company’s sale to Amadeus in 2001 and was named one of the 25 influential executives by Business Travel News.

Prior to joining Amadeus, Gutz was a vice president at Oracle Corporation, where he guided corporate financial planning, corporate accounting, and mergers and acquisitions integration. He also worked as a senior manager for Arthur Andersen LLP in the audit and business process consulting divisions.

Gutz completed his MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership. Gutz also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Babson College and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
