Easy, flexible and cost-saving interface solutions for transmitting booking and fares information to your management information and back-office systems
Amadeus Interface Record Back Office (AIR Back Office) for back-office tasks offers users the possibility to transmit passenger booking and fare information (recorded at travel agencies and ATC/CTO offices) to back-office systems for the purposes of accounting and cost control. The passenger booking and fare information is collected from Amadeus Passenger Name Records (PNRs) and, as such, can include flight, car, hotel, tour, travel assistance, and cruise booking.
The Amadeus Interface Record Back Office (AIR Back Office) is designed to fit with various customers’ environments, from small to large size organisations involving a single or multiple consolidation centres.
In addition, this product allows customisation of the record content and transmission criteria for an optimised processing cost.
The Information Management Record (IMR) is a different kind of AIR (formerly called the Management Information AIR) used for booking statistics. It offers users the possibility to transmit booking and fare information on Amadeus PNR from travel agency and ATO/CTO offices to management information systems for information and statistics purpose.
Such passenger booking information could include flight, car, hotel, tours, travel assistance, and cruise data.The IMR can be transmitted independently on valuable document operations. It can be sent upon specific changes in the booking, depending on what the external application intends to process. Our customers can get early information on booking and fares for statistics purposes.
This allows back-office and management information systems to get information before or after ticketing. They can track booking and fare changes, mainly for statistics and quality control purposes.
Amadeus Rail Interface Record script enables Elgar users to easily convert the ticketed booking information into an A.I.R. to be collected by the back office system. This means users will not have to add miscellaneous segments to the Amadeus PNR in order to get the rail information into the back office.
The script will convert Eurostar TNR, including prepay, and UK TNR sold from availability and fare display into an Amadeus Interface Record. In all cases these will be ticketed TNRS for single or multiple passengers. Voids or refunds are not included in this phase of the script.
The format of the Rail A.I.R is very similar to the current A.I.R format.
Amadeus Cruise Data Exchange enables the transference of data from 3rd-party applications to Amadeus Cruise and vice versa. The 3rd-party provides start-up information to prefill field of Amadeus Cruise’s user interface. At the end of a booking, Amadeus Cruise returns the booking data to the client’s application if this option has been chosen. All data exchanged between Amadeus Cruise and client applications is in XML.
The format for incoming and outgoing data is defined through XML Schemas and stays the same for all client applications.
The 3rd-party application can be another client application or a web-based application and Amadeus Cruise offers two similar interfaces for both types of applications.
With Amadeus XML Fare Data Interface (XML FDI), 3rd party applications can easily interface their own Negotiated fares from their own database to Amadeus selling platform. Maximising the full potential of Amadeus pricing fucntionality.
