Convenient, Innovative online Training

Amadeus has introduced the first facilitated remote training as part of its commitment to further deliver knowledge right onto the lap of its travel agency customers.

Travel agents using Amadeus Cruise can now participate in a cruise training course in the comfort of their own office or home. The 3-hour course, which started in June 2006 is designed for New and Intermediate users.

The curriculum contains the following topics:

Shop for a Cruise
Create a Cruise Booking
Display Cruise Operator Policy and Ship information
Retrieve a Cruise Booking
Confirm a Cruise Booking
Cancel a Cruise Booking
Introduction to Fast Sell
View History

Agents will connect to the training via a conference call and website. The facilitator will lead the training via the website, as well as directing the participants through the system using their own Amadeus Cruise access. Participants can send messages to the facilitator or other participants if they have a question or comment.

The class size is limited to 6 attendees to ensure personal attention and time for questions. Courses cost GBP20 per person or 6 participants for GBP100. To enroll, please contact the Amadeus training team via e-mail on training@uk.amadeus.com or through your Amadeus representative.
