We are currently completing the replacement of proprietary environments with open systems. This modern architecture, with multi channel components and services, enables more and more powerful functional solutions in a shorter timeframe. It also enlarges our range of travel solutions.
- With the Altéa suite for airlines, Amadeus now has the first Airline Passenger Services System ever operated on new generation technology. This innovative suite of solutions is capable of delivering the core airline requirements whilst at the same time allowing carriers to propose differentiated services to their passengers.
- In 2007, blending our earlier airline IT experience with hotel expertise, Amadeus unveiled the biggest breakthrough in hotel technology for 20 years -the Amadeus Hotel Platform. This is a next generation technology platform that will prepare the hotel industry for a new era in electronic distribution, reservation and search. 78,000 hotel properties have already migrated to the new platform.
