Increasing revenues is not simply about reducing costs.


We are continually developing new ways for travel providers and retailers to enhance revenues through cross selling and upselling higher value products, eliminating waste and misuse of booking systems, managing load factors more effectively and providing detailed accurate data on a vast range of revenue streams.

Fact: From January to June 2007, airlines generated €3.6 billion in online booking value through Amadeus e-Retail Engine, Amadeus' online booking solution for airlines. This is 38% more than in the same period last year.

In hotels, for example, Amadeus Revenue Management Solution (RMS) can now optimise how long a guest stays as well as how much they pay. It has been equipped with a new module to measure its own effectiveness, quantifying the hotelier's return on investment. Many of the fastest growing hotel chains in the world have recently adopted Amadeus' RMS, including TAJ, Rocco Forte and Central Hotels and Resorts. The Cornell-Nanyang Institute has also recognised it as the industry leading solution by making it a key element of their prestigious Master of Management in Hospitality programme.
