Amadeus Unused Electronic Ticket Tracking Report (UETTR) is a tool that offers the travel agencies the opportunity to track unused electronic tickets in order to be able to process refunds and any other follow up transactions.
Basically, the agency can access the database of the airlines to obtain electronic reports that includes unused or partially used tickets. This report enables the agents to process an electronic ticket refund or exchange transaction according to the customer needs which shall provide huge revenue savings to the customer. In the absence of an automatic tracking solution of the unused coupons, some of them would remain paid, but unused and the revenue losses for passengers and corporations would be huge. UETTR is a functionality available on Amadeus Selling Platform, based on specific settings. Only the tickets issued after the UETTR activation can be tracked. This solution is working based on the following principle:
The travel agents are able to request UETTR reports using various search options which can filter out the information that will be sent. In order to provide the agents with a user-friendly report, easy to use/access, Amadeus integrated the process into the existing Amadeus Queue package. A travel agency subscriber who has not requested a report within 45 days will be automatically marked for suspensión from the UETTR table.
