Amadeus SMS, a new solution available in Romania

We are happy to inform you about the availability of a new solution, Amadeus Romania can offer to its customers, respectively Amadeus SMS.

What represents Amadeus SMS?

Amadeus SMS is an aplication that allows the agents to send SMS messages directly from Amadeus Selling Platform.

Allows you to send the itineraries to several phone numbers on the same time
Amadeus SMS allows you to track (via email) the status of the SMSs you've sent
Offers the possibility to send free flow text messages
Amadeus SMS creates in PNR an OP element that functions as a reminder for the travel agent

Features of Amadeus SMS

It automatically captures the itinerary information from the PNR (coresponding to the segment(s) selected for the SMS transmission)
The phone number is automatically transfered from the PNR if it has been previously entered either on RC or AP elements. Thus, the user can add (Add numbers option) one or several phone numbers which haven't been previously entered within the PNR.
The users can set up the sender'name that will be displayed on the recipient’s mobile phone
The application is very easy to use, the users only need to select the language and then service/segment desired (zbor / hotel / masina) or the option for free text
In addition, the aplication offers the following functionalities:

Redisplay the information from Amadeus PNR
Adds a reminder, as an OP element
Provides (via email) the status of the SMSs transmission

Before sending the message, the user can select one of the two options:

Simple information: in this case the SMS sent includes the full name of the cities for air segments or the full name of the hotel for the hotel segment, depending on the segments selected or
Complex information: in this case the SMS includes coded segments, as they appear within the PNR.

After the message has been sent, the application will add within the PNR, the following remark „RM SMS SENT TO PAX“

Through Amadeus SMS you can send messages to the users of the following GSM companies from Romania:

VODAFONE
ORANGE
COSMOTE
