Over 130 Hotel Brands offer Best Available Rate through Amadeus
Singapore (Asia Pacific), 25 July 2007: Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has signed over 130 major hotel brands up to its Best Available Rate programme. Hotels which have signed up to the programme have seen their bookings through Amadeus grow by between 10% and 30%. Travel agents and corporations can be confident that hotel rates in Amadeus are as good as, or better than, hotel rates in other distribution systems or on the hotel’s own website.
"Today’s travellers need fast solutions to their travel enquiries, and it is crucial that our agents can respond quickly to customer requests,” said Jackie Tong, Managing Director, Travelux Hong Kong. “With Amadeus Best Available Rate our agents can feel comfortable they have access to the best hotel rates, eliminating the need for time-consuming searches across a range of channels. This will in turn free them up to concentrate on attending to a customer’s other travel needs instead."

Amadeus Best Available Rate gives travel agents the confidence that the rates they see in Amadeus are the same as, or better than, the rates they would find elsewhere.
