Amadeus Corporate University partners with San Sebastian College – Recoletos to provide Amadeus e-Learning modules to BS Tourism Management students
Manila, Philippines, 29 June 2009: Amadeus, a leading global technology partner to the travel and tourism industry, has recently partnered with San Sebastian College – Recoletos, one of the seven “Recollect” schools in the Philippines, owned and operated by the Augustinian Recollect Fathers. The partnership will provide the wide range of Amadeus e-Learning courses to the school’s BS Tourism Management students.
The partnership will make available online courses that will train and acquaint the students with Amadeus Travel IT solutions, as well as other mandatory travel-related lessons. Under the auspices of San Sebastian’s College of International Hospitality Management, the acquired knowledge from Amadeus e-Learning will prepare students in building their career as the nation’s future travel professionals, and update them on the industry’s current trends, IT-related and otherwise. Amadeus e-Learning will be made available to the students who enroll in the 6-unit Tour & Travel Operations course.
“We look forward to building on the global competitiveness of our students with the training that Amadeus e-Learning will provide. Since Amadeus is the world’s leading technology partner to the travel and tourism industry, I am confident that our students will gain a wider perspective on innovation, and increase their proficiency in travel-trade processes. Amadeus e-Learning will complement San Sebastian’s College of International Hospitality Management, and create a synergy that will redound to the advancement of our course offerings.” says Rev. Fr. Dionisio C. Cachero, OAR, President of San Sebastian College – Recoletos.
