Amadeus celebrated 10 years by honoring its loyal partners
To celebrate a successful 10 years in the Philippines and Amadeus' 20th year global anniversary, this year’s awards night was indeed extra special. The 2020 theme provided an excellent backdrop to the key messages that were highlighted during the event. The awards night held at the Renaissance Makati City Hotel last November 21, was remarkably graced by over 400 guests from travel agencies and airline partners.
The evening started off with cocktails, music and a photo wall of Amadeus offices where guests had their souvenir photos taken. During buffet dinner a slideshow of past customer activities and gatherings were projected on the screen as Amadeus walked them down the memory lane. Amadeus general manager Albert Villadolid gave his welcome remarks followed by Amadeus Asia Pacific president David Brett’s keynote address about the special occasion. Then, Amadeus honored for their loyalty 46 travel agencies who signed up with Amadeus ten years ago and continue to do majority of their business with us today.
Towards the end of the evening, internal talents were also showcased when senior solutions specialist Buddy Pena and acquisitions manager Owen Torres sang a duet that surprised the audience. It was also a night Amadeus Philippines presented a plaque of recognition to founding general manager of the ACO, Peter Lam, and former general manager Patti King for their outstanding leadership that significantly contributed to Amadeus’ success in the Philippines. The grand party ended with a ceremonial toast led by Carlos Romero, Regional Director - Market Management, to bid Amadeus’ success for the next 20 years!
