History

Our story so far

Amadeus Nigeria opened its doors for business in January 2001. Since then, Amadeus has expanded its operations throughout the country and opened branch offices in Abuja 2002, to support the northern market and Port Harcourt 2004, to support the south and eastern market. The head office in Lagos, supports the whole country and each office in the various regions provides a back up to each other.

 

Amadeus Nigeria provides sales, consultancy, training and Help Desk support to meet the needs of the Nigerian travel industry.

 

The high level of system reliability sets an example for the entire GDS market. It ensures authorized users access to major airline carriers of the world as well as hotels, car rental and other services related to the travel industry.

 

The company has since grown organically to become the leading travel distributor in Nigeria with a rising profile in the South, West, East and Northern regions of the country respectively.

 

With professionals in the different Amadeus offices and a landmark achievement of more than 70% market share in the month of August 2011, Amadeus Nigeria is a top contributor to Amadeus companies in the Middle East and Africa region.
