For many TMCs, 2007 was a record-breaking year - members of the UK’s Guild of Travel Management Companies made nearly 3.2 million hotel reservations in 2007, representing an increase of 20% versus 2006. But it is probable that as hotel bookings soared, so did TMC employees’ stress levels.  

The difficulties involved in tracking payments and service fees for industry segments not covered by ARC or BSPs are notorious.
