As cruising continues to grow and advance, so is the technology that helps to sell it. The next-generation of cruise booking tools has arrived: Amadeus Total Cruise. Amadeus is rolling out a new, free cruise booking solution, which enables travel agents to shop multiple cruise lines from a single booking tool, resulting in greater control, increased productivity and better customer service.
Amadeus Total Cruise enables travel professionals to increase revenues, save time, work smarter and manage more bookings. Travel agents no longer need to visit individual cruise websites or make numerous phone calls to search and shop cruise options. Agents can view, shop and compare multiple cruise line offerings using this single booking tool. The tool displays all pricing options in real-time and side-by-side on one screen, enabling agents to easily select the best options for their customers. And they can shop and book cruises anytime, anywhere and regardless of their global distribution system (GDS) affiliation.
“Through this solution, travel agencies can ensure their agents are armed with the most advanced tools when booking cruises. And travel professionals are empowered to sell cruises and serve customers better, faster and easier than ever before,” said Scott Alvis, Chief Marketing Officer, Amadeus North America.
The solution also offers travel agencies complete cruise management through new reporting tools designed to help travel agency managers gain full visibility into productivity.
Amadeus is rolling out the new solution at Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Cruise360 annual conference taking place June 1-6 in Vancouver, Canada. The more than 2,000 cruise-focused travel professionals from around the world in attendance can check out the solution at Amadeus’ exhibitor booth #331.
Amadeus Total Cruise is available to travel professionals in the United States and Canada using Amadeus Selling Platform Connect. Click here to read our full announcement about Amadeus Total Cruise.
