Customers shopping on www.united.com can see the lowest fares available for their desired city pair simply by hovering over options in the return date calendar, enabling them to compare prices and dates on the first page even before submitting their full itinerary search.
“This instant pricing tool is a key part of our reimagined flight booking experience with an emphasis on speed and personalization for our customers,” said Scott Wilson, United’s Vice President of Merchandising and eCommerce. “Partnering with Amadeus is helping us enhance our customers’ shopping experience today, and gives us the technology foundation to create a more customer-centric future.”
Amadeus’ industry-leading search and transaction technology does the heavy lifting behind the scenes, enabling the airline to quickly and easily deliver its lowest available fares to customers earlier in the shopping process.
