Boston is known for the Red Sox, the Wahlbergs and now Amadeus. On June 11, Amadeus participated in the Boston TechJam – a block party and innovation festival held in the Boston City Hall Plaza. Attendees ranged from local startups such as Hubspot to larger corporations like Google and Microsoft – all with the purpose to celebrate culture and innovation.
More than 35 employees from our own Boston-based research & development (R&D) hub networked with eager startups, scoped out tech talent and indulged in the live music and giveaways.
Among the more than 70 exhibitors, we repped Amadeus with our Which traveler tribe are you? quiz sweepstakes – inspired by our white paper Future Traveller Tribes 2030 – free swag and a demo of our Amadeus Personal Disruption Companion app. Beyond the exhibits, the sense of community and energy for all things technology and innovation reaffirmed Boston as a thriving tech region. And with the city’s strong tech presence, Amadeus’ new R&D center is in the prime spot to foster and acquire some of the best and brightest innovators to address the needs of the travel industry. Needless to say, we look forward to meeting up and making new connections at next year’s Boston TechJam!
