Next-generation technology is now providing the power behind SeaPort Airlines, the Portland, Oregon-based regional airline which recently completed a successful migration of their existing passenger service system to the Amadeus Altéa portfolio of airline IT solutions.
“The Altéa technology platform is a cornerstone of SeaPort’s strategy to provide global connectivity to small and mid-size cities across the United States,” said Rob McKinney, President of SeaPort Airlines. “This migration could not have been achieved so quickly and effectively without the teamwork and dedication of SeaPort employees and the exceptional support we received from our partners at Amadeus.”
SeaPort is now benefitting from the same industry-leading Amadeus technology also chosen by 100+ airlines around the world. Altéa delivers the reservations, ticketing, inventory, e-commerce solutions and departure control technology airlines need to advance their operations and automation while enabling them to serve travelers in the best way possible. With the new technology in place, for example, SeaPort has been able to implement their first Interline Electronic Ticketing (IET) agreement with Alaska Airlines.
The migration and partnership as a whole is a true testament to the capabilities of Amadeus’ network, both in North America and worldwide. Last October, the companies announced the initial agreement stating that the Altéa portfolio of IT solutions would help the airline realize its vision of providing connectivity to the U.S. air transportation system for small and mid-size communities.
