Amadeus Automatic Update

Automate your business

Amadeus Automatic Update is a service installed on the client machine. Its role consists in checking the authorised products / releases for the terminal, and updating this terminal if necessary. When a new product/release is authorised in the Web Config database, Automatic Update checks the local configuration and downloads any new or updated files that may be missing. Finally, Automatic Update reports back to the Web Config database what has been installed.

Automatic Update is now integrated as a product in Web Config and therefore needs to be deployed to all customers using  Selling Platform, Selling Platform (Basic Pack), Cruise etc. The main advantage is that updates are downloaded transparently and not any more from products' welcome pages.
