Amadeus Creates Key New Role within UK & Ireland Sales Team
London, 08 July, 2008: Amadeus, a leading global technology and distribution partner for the travel and tourism industry, has today announced the appointment of Anders Lofgren as Solutions Sales Expert for Amadeus UK & Ireland. Based in the UK, Anders will play a major role in developing new and existing customer relationships during this time of rapidly evolving technology.
A key focus of this new role will be to assist Travel Management Companies and other large businesses to deploy and utilise the latest mid- and back-office applications in order to maximise efficiency.
In this newly created position, Anders will be working closely with Amadeus Sales, Account Management and implementation teams to identify customers’ strategic business drivers. After gaining a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, Anders will work with Amadeus IT experts to design and propose customer-specific solutions that incorporate the latest technology to deliver success.
Anders has the perfect blend of IT and Travel industry experience having previously worked as Technical Account Manager EMEA for EB2 International, the e-commerce solutions and online technology provider for airlines, as well as a Localisation & QA Test Engineer for Apple Computers.
