We know that you are extremely busy, all of the time. Filling your hotels to achieve the best possible yield and keeping your customers happy to secure their ongoing loyalty is more than a full-time job. But do you really know how your hotels are performing, which agencies are bringing you regular business, what rates they are booking, which months bring you the best yield, if your international business is more/less than last year, what your top performing properties are and so much more? If you were equipped not only with the information to answer those questions but also a tool that would answer those questions fast, it would make finding opportunities to fill your hotels profitably so much easier!
Our joint goal is to make it easy and fast to access your Amadeus hotel booking performance data, and to ensure that data is easy to interpret.
Amadeus Hotel Insight is an online 24/7 business intelligence tool built to help you identify concrete business development opportunities via the Amadeus network faster than ever. Since the first release in late 2013, we have been working with many of you, our customers, to understand how we could enhance the solution even further to ensure it is bringing as much value as possible to your business. Keeping in mind that our joint goal is to make it easy and fast to access your Amadeus hotel booking performance data, and to ensure that data is easy to interpret, we introduced a number of enhancements based on direct feedback from customers and users.
We have added more ways to view your data on Amadeus Hotel Insight. Now, you can view your performance by number of bookings, revenue (now in USD and EUR) and room nights over a period of 1-4 years. We have also added a new Daily Bookings report so you can get an instant view of reservations by day for the current year and 3 previous years, including the percentage variation.
We have added a new filter to Amadeus Hotel Insight so you can view your booking information not only by their Pseudo City Code (PCC), but also by their Travel Agency IATA. You can then produce reports which show your top producing bookings, revenues, and room nights and compare over 1, 2, 3 or even 4 years.
In a few clicks, you were already able to see your top source or destination cities for any given year to easily identify where there is potential to grow your business. Now, you can also view your overall domestic versus international bookings by month to gain a global synopsis of your performance.
We have created new widgets, or reports, so you can drill down to see performance for a whole chain, a group of properties or an individual hotel, and you can view that data across 4 years by bookings, room nights and revenue. With this business intelligence, you have the ability to select several hotel chains and can learn from top performing properties of each chain and replicate their best practices company-wide.
That's no problem at all. Our user interface enhancements mean you can now select specific values (e.g. two cities, two properties), add an entire group (chain xx) and then exclude certain elements (all hotels in France, excluding Paris) and when you're done, you can clear all your filters with one click.
On one hand, the widgets, will provide a clear visual representation of the data set you have selected and you can hover over any part of this to get more detailed information on the exact figures and percentage variation. Another option, is to directly drill down by downloading the raw data file of the selected filters to perform a more in-depth analysis of your data.
We have developed an automated email scheduling tool, so you can set up Amadeus Hotel Insight to email your designated addressees a screenshot of any widget(s), for any periodicity (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly). This can be synchronised with the loading of the latest data to Amadeus Hotel Insight so hotel management can always receive up-to-the-minute business intelligence directly to their email.
Amadeus Hotel Insight is an invaluable tool for hotel decision-makers to evaluate both historical business data and plan for the future. We have spent considerable time and investment updating Hotel Insight so that it directly responds to your needs identified through many of our customer feedback sessions. In fact, this new version has been upgraded to include: 2 new filters, 6 new widgets and 11 user interface enhancements.
