Amadeus is a leading IT solution provider to the travel and tourism industry.  As part of our continuing expansion in Asia Pacific, we are seeking to appoint experienced candidate for the following position:

 

Senior Training and Fare Specialist (Ref : STFS/HKG)

Responsible for all training aspects including but not limited to design of training courses using various media, such as e-learning and video training; work and coordinate with travel institute to explore training opportunity; take care of all the fare and ticketing activities which include  but not limited to the coordination of fare loading activities in compliance to the IATA/ATPCO rules and applications; work closely with the airlines and HKBSP; support customers, mainly travel agents in trouble shooting fare and ticketing issues, implement new initiatives and enhancements in regard to  fare/taxes/charges, baggage resolutions and travel documentation aspects

 

l  Profound knowledge of IATA fare construction

            (holder of IATA fare construction certificate is an advantage)

l  Minimum five years’ experience in training area with at least 2 year

            in fare and ticketing related area (knowledge of Amadeus system is an advantage)

l  Some management and supervisory skill

l  Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

l  Good problem solving and analytical skills

l  A fast learner, self-motivated, good team player and can work under pressure

l  Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

 

 

Account Manager, Sales (Ref : AM/HKG)

Being a key player in the Sales and Marketing team, the Account Manager will implement both sales and marketing activities; develop, enhance and maintain the customer relationships in order to achieve sales and revenue targets; and to participate in trade shows and organize promotional campaigns to enable sales maximization.

 

l  University degree in a business related or travel/tourism discipline

l  Minimum 4 years sales experience in business development, experience on

            travel agency, airline or related service industries are highly preferred but not a must

l  Self-initiated, result & objectives oriented , team player, commitment to achieve budget

l  Strong customer-centric orientation

l  Excellent communication and presentation skills

l  Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

 

 

Technical Support Engineer (Ref : TSE/HKG)

Providing first level technical support for the customers in Hong Kong and Macau, including onsite and remote problem diagnosis and analysis.  Testing and rollout of the Amadeus products and services, including hardware and software installations.  Management of Internal Systems and LAN administration tasks.  Gather and evaluate customer’s technical requirements for specific integration projects.  Desk-side support to internal Amadeus staff and participate in various projects.

 

l  University degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent professional

            experience (Systems or Networking)

l  Minimum 2-4 years experience (preferably in an international environment)

l  Strong hands-on PC environment troubleshooting skills

l  Familiar with Microsoft Windows PC and server environment, TCP/IP and internetworking

l  Good problem solving and analytical skills

l  Hardworking, flexible and can work under pressure with Can-Do Will-Do attitude

l  Team player, self motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision

l  Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

 

 

Analyst Programmer (Ref : AP/HKG)

Collect and analyze user requirements, produce functional and system specifications, design and develop customized software based on the requirements and specifications with proper documentation.

 

l  University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines

l  Minimum 2 years experience in software development on MS Windows Platform

            using Visual C# and .NET languages

l  Proficient in advanced Windows GUI design

l  Good problem solving and analytical skills

l  Hardworking, flexible and can work under pressure with Can-Do Will-Do attitude

l  Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese

 

Business Solutions Executive (Ref : BSE/HKG)
Travel technology solutions expert, both GDS and non-GDS. Implement solutions and provide relative solution supports to customers. Conduct solution tests and evaluations, both before and after solution implementation. Drive solution adoption. Participate directly in the sales process by making in-depth products and solutions presentations and live demonstrations. Improve communications with channels to market and other departments. Collect market intelligence information, synthesis and analysis.

l University degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Business
       
Administration or a combination of other formal qualifications. An MBA, project
        management and affiliation with professional bodies are desirable
l Minimum 3 years experience in Travel industry operations, IT solutions, accounting,
        marketing, account management and/or project management in business environment
l With project management certification or affiliation with professional bodies are desirable
l Knowledge on GDS general functions and features are mandatory
l With GDS, Airlines or Travel industry experience is desirable
l Highly developed project management and customer management skills
l Excellent communication and presentation skills
l Strong customer-centric orientation, flexible and be a good team player
l Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
