Air China (CA) launches E-ticketing in Amadeus

With immediate effect, Air China (CA) e-ticketing is available in Amadeus. Please refer to the following guidelines for electronic ticket issuance on CA:

Guidelines

Explanation

Eligible E-Ticket Sectors

·    All CA operating flights

   Only flights displaying an “ E” indicator may be issued with E-ticket

Segment Status

·   HK-confirmed with CA Record Locator

·      Passive segment is not allowed for e-ticketing

Infant E-Ticket

·    Not allowed

Group E-Ticket

·      Not allowed

Name Field Requirement

·      The name field in the booking file and the name field in the E-ticket record must match. At all times the name field must reflect the passenger surname and full first name as per passport / ID and must be followed by the passenger title.

Maximum number of flight segment(s)

·      Allow maximum of 9 passengers per e-ticket transaction and 16 segments including surface sector

Check-In Requirement

·    Itinerary receipt should be presented upon check-in

Form of Identification (FOID)

l        FOID is mandatory. Please indicate nationality, passport number and date of

      birth in the FOID. Due to space limitation, spacing is not allowed in the free flow text field.

E-Ticket Void

·    Same as paper ticket, applicable within BSP period

·    E-ticket to E-ticket, E-ticket to paper ticket is supported, same as paper ticket procedures. Only valid for eligible E-ticket sectors

·    For paper ticket to E-ticket , please refer CA Ticketing office

Refund Procedure

·    Same as paper ticket, please proceed with BSP guidelines
