Amadeus hosts a successful event in Cyprus on the new market trends for tech solutions
Lefkosia, 2 February 2010 - A specialised seminar on new trends in global tourism and the development of on-line services and new solutions available for the growth of tourist agencies, was organised recently in Cyprus by Amadeus, the leading technological partner of the tourist and travel industry.
This event was part of the Amadeus CESE Roadshow 2010 with Amadeus IT Group officials, Mr Jean-Mac Garzulino and Guillame Kozinski, Head of CESE Solutions Centre and E-commerce Business Solutions Manager, both giving important presentations. Representing Amadeus Hellas were, Sales & Marketing Manager, Mr. Manos Markakis, Business Solutions Manager Mrs Elena Morozini, Mrs Eva Karamanou, Mr. Renos Kelepesis and Mrs Xenia Angeli with the entire Cyprus team. Attending the seminar were representatives of the largest travel agencies in Cyprus.
In his opening speech the Manager of Amadeus Hellas S.A. in Cyprus, Mr. Renos Kelepesis said: “After 10 successful years in the Cypriot travel market which is of strategic importance to Amadeus, we are especially proud to be in a leading position with a market share of over 45%.”

The company recently announced the opening of an area Solution Centre in Warsaw. The Solution Centre will provide technological support, management of business procedures, and consulting services.
The event was organised as part of the Amadeus Roadshow, a series of events that Amadeus organises in central and south-east European countries in order to respond better to the needs of travel agencies in these areas. Similar events took place in Greece, Russia, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine.
