Third workshop for Amadeus Hellas
The solutions of the company were presented to the travel agencies of Crete

Amadeus, the global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, aiming to the constantly informing its partners throughout Greece and Cyprus, organised yesterday the third technological meeting, which this time took place in Herakleio of Crete.
The participation exceeded every expectation, as members of the travel agencies from the whole region of Crete had the chance to be informed on the most advanced technological solutions of Amadeus, which ensure the increase of sales and the provision of competitive advantages in the sector of Customer Service, factors that are necessary for the evolution and diversification of the modern enterprises. The solutions of Amadeus presented were the following:

• Amadeus Service Fee Manager: Ensures the efficient calculation, storing and collection of all service fees.
• Amadeus Quality Control: Ensures the systematic control of every PNR during the time of the booking, making sure that the required information are received simultaneously and excluding, to the maximum, any errors and the need for any recheck.
• Amadeus Hotel Plus: Innovative and extremely easy to use web based platform for hotel bookings
• Amadeus Agency Internet Engine - e Power: A separate online booking solution which does not need special development, while its versatile parameterization permits the smooth integration in every company website
During the workshop, the attendants had also the chance to be informed thoroughly about the research conducted by the independent consultants company Hermes Management Consulting, on behalf of Amadeus and which aims to the better understanding of the structure of the operational cost of travel agencies and tour operators in Greece, underlining the weaknesses and the unexploited opportunities of revenues.
