Amadeus Hellas Solutions Workshop in Athens

Athens, 20 March 2008:

Amadeus Hellas organised on the 20th of March 2008 a technology meeting for travel agencies.

During the meeting more than 100 executives from tourism and travel agencies in the region of Attica had the chance to be informed on the technological solutions the company has developed and are related to the increase of sales and provide the competitive advantages in the sector of customer service.

The Amadeus solutions presented were the following:

· Amadeus Quality Control: Ensures continuous control of every PNR during booking time, making sure that the required information is received simultaneously and eliminating mistakes, as well as the need for rechecking.

· Amadeus Mobile SMS: offers the possibility of automatic dispatch of SMS on the passengers mobile phone in order to confirm a booking or to inform them for a potential change of itinerary any time of the day, instantly and most importantly simply.

· Amadeus All fares: Ensures the best possible price for passengers and the most flexible itinerary, as the search realized for the travel agent includes also airlines’ websites.

· Amadeus Agency Internet Engine E-power: Automated online bookings solution without the need of any further special development, while its flexible parameterization enables the smooth integration in every corporate website.

· Amadeus Service Fee Manager: Secures the efficient calculation, storage and collection of all service fees.
· Amadeus Hotel Plus: Innovative and exceptionally easy to use web based bookings platform for hotel bookings

During the meeting the attendants had the change to get informed also about the study conducted by Hermes Management Consulting on behalf of Amadeus and which aims to the better understanding of the structure of the operation cost of travel agencies and tour operators in Greece, defining the insufficient points and the unexploited opportunities for revenues.
