New General Manager for Amadeus Egypt
Moudy Maguid brings extensive travel industry experience to his new position
Cairo, Egypt, 24 September, 2009: Moudy Maguid has been appointed as the General Manager for Amadeus Egypt.
In his new role, Moudy will drive Amadeus Egypt’s commercial and solution strategy and will be key in strengthening the company’s relations with its existing customer base, as well as expanding its reach among new travel agency partners across Egypt.
Over his 16-year career, Moudy has gained a thorough understanding of the travel industry. He joined Amadeus Egypt in 2006 as Sales and Marketing Manager and has been responsible for defining and driving Amadeus’ commercial strategy, elements which have been the key to Amadeus’ leadership position in the market.
He has been closely associated with the travel and hospitality industry throughout his career, including successful stints in both travel and insurance multinational companies.
Moudy takes over this new role from Ahmed Youssef, who has been promoted to a regional role in Market Management for the Middle East, based in Amadeus’ newly established Dubai Regional Hub.
