As companies become multinational, coordinating travel around the world and implementing a worldwide travel policy can become a challenging task. To gain insights into why corporations implement global travel programmes and how they are defined, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), in partnership with Amadeus, polled 240 travel and procurement professionals from around the world.
The findings reveal what constitutes a global travel programme, what challenges travel managers face when implementing one and the steps they should take to overcome these complexities in order to achieve the full benefits of running such a programme.
