In many ways, it’s probably the rail industry equivalent of the famous question: ‘who from history would you most like to invite if you were hosting a dinner party?’…. For those of you that are now entirely confused I am of course referring to the research question ‘which celebrity would you most like to sit next to on an international train journey’, which was just one of many posed to travellers in the recent Amadeus/YouGov traveller survey.
