This Thursday, September 22, I will be taking part in an Air Transport World webinar reviewing the results of research I authored with Amadeus earlier this year.
The webinar, which will begin at 11:00 ET (that is 17:00 CET for those in Europe), will also feature Long-Bernard Hoang, Senior Manager Strategic Marketing, Airline IT at Amadeus with Michele McDonald of Air Transport World moderating.
I’m really excited about the chance to share the report in more depth. In particular I will look at how airlines can no longer look to basic functionality – such as mobile check-in, 2D bar code boarding passes and itinerary management – as ways to differentiate their services.
We will delve into the new opportunities that are emerging for airlines over the next few years, including the use of mobile platforms to market and merchandise products and services through personalised, targeted promotions and offers.
The webinar will also look at the types of mobile innovations that we can expect from airlines in the next 3-5 years, specifically relating to passenger experience and advanced mobile devices.
Across the globe mobile technology is transforming the future of air travel. Airlines not only need to keep pace with passenger expectations, but also to maximise the unique opportunity to use mobile technology for product differentiation, incremental sales and increased brand loyalty.
Join us for this important seminar to seize the opportunity mobile technology can provide for a more efficient, intimate and profitable relationship with passengers.
