The long-anticipated and much-heralded third Amadeus Total Rail Customer Forum took place in November 2010 in Sophia Antipolis, France.
With a theme of ‘making the essential connections’, the event sought to bring together rail industry experts from across the world to discuss and debate the crucial issues facing rail as it enters a new age of innovation and deregulation.
Guest speakers from across the industry were present including Dr Oliver Haferbeck from Deutsche Bahn, Mark Smith the founder of website ‘The Man in Seat 61’ and Mickael Varga from the European Railway Agency. In essence we wanted to challenge, inform and question our delegates on the future of rail whilst also looking at the industry from a range of differing and often new perspectives.
