It was a day when EVA Airways and its subsidiary, UNI Airways, joined a common IT platform (the Amadeus Altéa suite) used by 64% of Star Alliance members – ensuring seamless integration and access to a wide range of enhanced customer service functionalities.
The airline is the first Taiwanese carrier to select the full Amadeus Altéa suite.
And that’s not all.
EVA Airways will be the first Asian carrier to implement the new Amadeus Altéa Revenue Management system – which brings a mix of traditional airline revenue management techniques, paired with demand forecasting and advanced decision support tools.
To celebrate the day of firsts, we joined together in Taipei to acknowledge the hard work of the 80 person strong team that will ensure the timely delivery the IT project by next year. 2013 is certainly going to be a year of action and change, where we’ll be working hand in hand with EVA to implement Amadeus Altéa.
I am personally looking forward to this exciting and intense phase, and to many years of partnership full of rich opportunities and shared successes.
