Amadeus volunteers gathered after office hours in the Madrid headquarters to install new software, review and clean each component and then package the computers for their journey from Madrid to Amman. The computers will arrive ready to plug and play in several charities and education centres throughout Jordan.
Without the participation of Amadeus volunteers and our partners, who want to contribute to this project and support education and training, we would not be able to carry out these activities so I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of those involved!
Other computer donation projects carried out by Amadeus benefited education projects in Ukraine, Cuba, Nicaragua, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria and Haiti, supporting education around the world. You can find out more about out CSR activity in our 2011 Corporate Responsibility Report.
