We’re committed to helping our airline customers deliver a unique traveler experience at every step of the journey. I was pleased to reiterate this commitment at the Amadeus Airline Leaders Forum – Americas and the US Chamber of Commerce Aviation Summit in Washington, DC. It was fantastic to discuss the future of the industry, strategies for growth, and customer centricity with top airline leaders in the Americas.
During the Amadeus Airline Leaders Forum, we discussed our 30 year track record of helping airlines foster innovation and growth. In addition to looking back, we looked forward to how we’re serving new airline segments through Navitaire and how Amadeus is the only travel technology player that can deliver a portfolio of platforms that support all airline operating models.
We spent the day exploring the most relevant travel innovations and trends impacting airlines as well as our place in adding value for Amadeus customers in the Americas region. We had a number of great presentations on topics as such as merchandising, shopping, data optimization, payment security and network planning, including presentations from the leading airlines in the region. Most importantly, we allowed our clients to interact with each other, network and share experiences.

As a sponsor of the #Aviation17 summit, Amadeus had the opportunity to foster dialogue among decision makers. There were a number of interesting panel sessions, including discussions between airlines and government agencies to improve travel processes, especially by adopting advanced technology to meet the challenges of increasing passenger traffic.
It was a privilege to be part of the enthusiasm and energy on display at both events, and my colleagues and I look forward to continuing discussions with the airline industry in the Americas.
