Amadeus Benelux, 24 May, 2007: Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, announced the introduction of the XML Fare Data Interface, a unique solution designed for customers who have an in-house fare database or who are working with a third party fare database and want to make their private negotiated fares automatically available in Amadeus.
Amadeus XML Fare Data Interface is an industry first solution to increase the market reach of its customers by synchronising their local fare database with the Amadeus system.
This fare management tool is particularly well suited for online travel agencies, consolidators, third parties (software houses) as well as multinational travel agency headquarters wishing to enter their negotiated fares with an alternative way into the Amadeus Fare Quote Database.
Gateway is the first servicing company to pilot the Amadeus XML Fare Database. XML Fare Database is next to the modules in Farexpert Filing Platform, one of the options offered to our customers to file their private fares in Amadeus.
