Amadeus BENE Rail
Local rail solution which enables Amadeus e-Travel Management users to book international rail
Amadeus Benelux has developed a local rail solution together with BENE, which enables the Amadeus e-Travel Management users to book international rail (Thalys and Eurostar) via the travel planner of Amadeus e-Travel Management. If the Amadeus e-Travel Management user clicks on the rail link in the travel planner, a rail request form will open, where he can introduce his travel data. When he hits the search button, he will be redirected to the BENE raileasy application, where he will complete his rail reservation.
When the reservation is completed, the fulfillment travel agency will receive an e-mail confirmation and can pick up this reservation in @lantis. To facilitate the creation of this rail request form, Amadeus e-Commerce has created a rail admin tool, in order to provide each Amadeus e-Travel Management reseller the capacity of creating its own Rail form enabling a fast time to market and easy management of rail travel sites.
Features
Each specific rail form for a corporate client will contain at least the following information:
• Specific Amadeus e-Travel Management work unit which the travel agency needs to ask to BENE. For each corporate client, a separate work unit will have to be asked.
• TCP/ECP number (if any) to get the correct corporate rates.
• E-mail address of the fulfillment agency where the e-mail confirmation will be sent to.
