New appointments at Amadeus Benelux

Amadeus Benelux, 04 April 2008:  Earlier this year, Amadeus Benelux had launched a Transformation process in order to offer the following advantages to our customers:
- integrated solutions from A to Z
- full integration of our e-Travel and mid and back office entities within the Commercial, Marketing & Product Management and Customer Delivery departments
- one single point of contact for our customers
- one Benelux approach

The optimalization of our organization has resulted in some new appointments:

René Schukkink, previously Country Manager – Netherlands, has now assumed the role of Commercial Director - Benelux. René will be supported by two team leaders: Jesus Medina, who has been appointed as Team Leader Multinational & Key Accounts and Herwig Copmans, appointed as Team Leader SME & Micro Accounts. They will be supported in their new responsibilities by a dynamic, motivated and customer-centric Sales & Account Management team.
The account managers who take ownership of the entire customer relations section, will be backed up by a team of solution sales experts. Ellis Dinsbach, who reports to René, has been appointed as Unit Manager – Solution Sales.

Bart Bellers, previously Manager – e-Commerce Solutions, has been appointed as Director - Customer Delivery. He is now responsible for the Customer Service Center, the Technical Services and Solution Services teams.
The Solution Services team, which will integrate project management & implementation of all Amadeus solutions, will be managed by Inge Van Dooren, Unit Manager – Solution Services. Hans Poelmans has been appointed Unit Manager – Technical Services. Inge and Hans will directly report to Bart Bellers like Carmen Parvizi who remains responsible for Customer Service Center.

Olaf Leenders, Director – Marketing & Product Management,  takes now under his responsibility  all Marketing areas like Communications, Customer Segmentation and Market Intelligence and also the Product Management team.

Our President and Chief Executive Officer, José Antonio Tazón recently said: “We are looking to the future and we are ready for it. Our mission is clear. We aim to be the leading supplier of IT solutions, enabling success in the travel and tourism industry. We will continue to develop."
