New Amadeus appointment to grow the corporate distribution channel

Sydney, 12 November 2007: Amadeus, the largest supplier of technology to the Australian and New Zealand travel and tourism industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tricia Lane to the position of e-Commerce Implementation Consultant, Amadeus Corporate and Distribution Channels, Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Sydney, Lane will be responsible for growing the corporate distribution channel within the Australian and New Zealand market. Her focus will be on developing a deep understanding of clients’ business requirements, ensuring they maximise their use of Amadeus’ Corporate and Distribution solutions and managing the implementation process to ensure a smooth transition.
Most recently Lane was Regional Implementation Consultant with American Express Business Travel where she was responsible for implementation and maintenance of profile and online booking tools for regional and global clients. Previous to this role, Lane held various sales and customer service roles with The Travel Corporation.
Lane’s thorough knowledge experience with online booking tools and the travel industry gained from her 13 years experience in the industry makes her a strong addition to the Amadeus IT Pacific operation.
